Nepal Flying STOL Mission Teaser

Click the link above and see a Landing on Manang at more than 11000 feet altitude and the famous Lukla or Tenzing-Hillary Airport often referred to as the World´s most dangerous airport. You will see it with the pilot´s cockpit views, while the STOL ports were still dirt strips.

On Sunday 31 of January the documentary will be launched. It will show 2 flights to Lukla, Simikot and Dolpa airports. Other additional STOL ports will be Jiri, Taplejung, Jomsom, Jumla, Bajura, Manang, Syagboche (12348 ft AMSL), Phaplu. We are also visiting Nepalgunj at the Indian border. A rare shot of the first and probably only Concorde landing in Kathmandu 1987 is showing the opposite side of flights. We were in Nepal to serve it´s people hence we have included their stories as well.

Enjoy! Airmanship Bilde1Capt. Stein Arne Fossum (now retired)
